What exactly?

A script to fix official subs (like Crunchyroll & Amazon). They both have styling and timing issues. However, that script can’t fix bad translations.

What do I need?

I recommend you downloading the Subfix files.
However, everything is also included in my Vapoursynth Pack.

So, what should I do after downloading it?

After extracting eveything, you first install Python 2.7 and run the batch file after that.
Both are inside the “_Install” folder. Running the batch file is important, because raw Python 2.7 won’t work. Furthermore, you don’t have to install Python 3, only 2 is necessary.
After completing that, you have to copy some files. Just look at the “_Copy.txt” inside the folder “_Copy”. What you need are: ffmpeg, mkvmerge, mkvextract & SCXvid.
The last step is to change the font. Open the batch file with an editor and search for “eXmendiC-Sans.otf”, you can change that to “Arial” or something else. Maybe you even want to remove that font muxing at all. Due to copyright I can’t offer a download link of the font. It’s a moddified version (including some special characters) of a pay font.

Using the script:

If you finished all the steps above, you are ready to use it.
The usage is really easy, just run the “Fix_Subs.bat” inside the main folder and follow the instructions on the screen.
Just use the enter key for default values (most of the times recommended)

Changing the main font:

Change the styles in the “template.ass” you can find in the “audio” folder.

Explanation for the different “Sushi modes”:

Change the styles in the “template.ass” you can find in the “audio” folder.
Mode 1: Fixing one frame gaps
Mode 2: Fixing bad timing (Crunchyroll)
Mode 3: Fixing bad timing (Amazon)
Mode 4: Fixing bad timing (Netflix)
Mode 5: Fixing bad timing (Funimation)
Mode 6: Fixing bad timing (Sentai)
